Barry Kenny B.A., M.Sc.(Econ) began his career in the economics area of the Irish Finance Ministry. He then moved into the private financial sector and worked in the bond markets, initially as an economist, but later in sales and proprietary trading. He also spent a couple of years as a strategist for a global macro hedge fund. He held senior positions with Citicorp Investment Bank, and subsidiaries of the Bank of Ireland and ABN Amro. Mr. Kenny has significant experience in commercial real estate and has led and controlled significant investments in Ireland, the U.K. and Switzerland. He chairs the board of MontLake Asset Management and is chairman of the Montlake risk committee. Mr. Kenny holds degrees from the National University of Ireland and Dublin University (Trinity College). The Senate of the National University of Ireland awarded him the title of Scholar in mental and moral science in 1981.
